sustainable pocky packaging

Packaging is a major contributor to our planet’s plastic pollution. As the climate crisis continues to worsen and consumers becoming increasingly conscious of environmental problems, many businesses are trying to fulfil their social responsibilities and appeal to consumers. For this university project, I redesigned the current packaging for Pocky by reducing packaging material used, adopting more sustainable materials and encouraging consumers to reuse the package instead of discarding it. One of Pocky’s core value is that the company cares about the people and the world we all live in. This new sustainable packaging helps Pocky show consumers that the corporation is delivering on their promises.

 

Although this new packaging might not do much to solve our ongoing environmental crisis, taking this small step towards sustainability is still better than not doing anything at all.
